Chinese New Year in NY 07
Looking to do something in that area since this year it also happens to be my B-day. Anyone has any suggestions? I did this once, and it was fun. But that was when they still used fireworks to ward the evil spirits away. Do they do anything for the New Year now? Anything fun to do? Any suggestions for a great restaurant for having duck?

Best for duck is probably The Nice restaurant at 35 East Broadway. If you need Chinatown-fancy, Peking Duck House is all right. Tai Hong Lau on Mott has half priced Peking duck on Mondays, according to New York magazine in this week's issue.
I would do a banquet at Oriental Garden. Great seafood and vegetable dishes... Or you can have great roast duck at places like NY Noodletown or Big Wing Wong.
