STOPPIT s'wally!!!
I've just drooled all over my keyboard!
I received a "pieroge" injury last week.
After boiling them and bathing them in olive oil, I heated up the fry pan till where it was almost glowing.
Threw them in and let them crisp away. Went to flip them and it took a major loogie right in my eye and cheek!
I pulled a small bag of "blue ice" out of the freezer and promptly stuck the edge of it in my eye! OUCH. I could have sworn I was being "Punked"!
Anyway, served them up with some grilled onions, sour cream and some sausage....
Yep, I'm ready for a trip to Chicago. Maybe I can book a flight on the "One Eye"?

Kal, My Polish grandmother would be so proud of you! However, you must always be aware of the risk of pieroge loogies and the even more dangerous squirt from the keilbasa on the first bite into it! Too bad you missed Paczyki day though. (I'm sure I mispelled that!) Hope your eye feels better. Come visit soon!
