Chicago Passport office

Looks like I will be headed to Chicago to get the kids' passports in person. Any advice on a hotel not too far from the Federal Building?

Don't know how much you're willing to spend. The Burnham is well located and pleasant:

It's pet friendly, so it may well be kid friendly too!

Yes, Burnham would work fine and the Atwood Cafe is inside too and they were kid friendly with my granddaughters.

Also Hotel Allegro is doable if you can't get into the Burnham. Cadillac Palace Theatre is attached there. Kids may get to view some actors/actresses coming/going.

Also look at the Silversmith and the two Hampton Inns (the one that is further away has suites.) Some summer weeks in Chicago are very expensive; a lot depends on convention and festival bookings.

Well they never sent the passports. I will be traveling to Chicago. I am running out of time. Very irritating!

Thanks for all the advice. I had a very long day, but drove there and back Got home after midnight, but came home with the passports. The other set just arrived 10 min. ago.

Thanks again.
