Have we missed the Cherry Blossoms? We were pondering taking a ride tomorrow to view these gorgeous trees? Are they still in bloom? Thanks for your time.

I am sorry. I should have been clear. I do mean Washington, D.C.

I think they are still blooming, but there is a light rain today (predicted for tomorrow also) which might clear the blossoms from the trees. Anyone within hearing distance who is closer to the trees than I am?

We were there last weekend when it was in full bloom. At that time, the flower petals were just starting to blow off the trees with each wind.

I can't speak for the trees today though. Sorry.

It has really been a rainy day today and they were past peak yesterday so may not be much left tomorrow. But the crowds may be gone too! We need the rain so can not complain too much.

Thanks all. We are coming from outside PHL so yes it has been raining all day here. As you said, much needed rain. We might just give it a try for a nice day out. I can do without the crowds. Thanks again.

We went yesterday and had a great time. We rented bikes from "bikes and sites." and we rode for 3 hours straight!! It was a wonderful time, and great day. It was great and I had a fabulous time. The Trees----hmm, well they were mostly done blooming and were mostly green now A few here and there but quite minimal. I need to time it better next year.
