For a great lunch try the Bon Ton on Magazine Street. The very best in cajun food.

Enjoyed a unique barbeque shrimp po' boy (the menu called it a shrim dip) at the Stationhouse Grill earlier this month. It's on Decatur right next to the fire station. Sandwich, fries and a couple of very cold beers was less than $15 as I recall.

They also have jazz jam sessions a couple of weeknights, I believe.
