Is it possible to stay in Maui at a nice hotel or B & B with beach access for 7 days and cost less then $3500?

Absolutely...deoending on the time of year you can rent a beautiful condo at Grand Champions Villas or The Palms both in Wailea, Maui for about $950 or $1150 if you rent directly through an owner. Neither is on the beach but both are a five minute drive from several top beaches. Just do a search using any search engine.

Absolutely, and less by the way! We got our plane tickets from www.cheaptickets.com for $640 RT from Indianapolis! And many nice condos are available for approx. $100/night. (we were really surprised.) We stayed at a nice hotel is wailea for about $130/night. But I would stay on the other side of the island in hind sight, and probably a condo to save money on dining out every night. Where we spent the most money was the doing the various activites. (there's so much to do!) We spent approx. $3,000 and the only thing we didn't do was the scenic helicopter ride. But I would recommend Frommers's guide to Maui, it was our "Bible" in planning and while we were there. Have fun!
