Via Travelocity: DFW r/t KOA $600 approx, appears to be Mon to Thurs travel days only.
Other cities may have similar, FWIW.
Good Hunting !

Wow! What a great fare, I guess, since I have no clue what KOA stands for. Can you be more vague, esp. with a header like "cheap fare seen."

Well posting was supposed to appear under "Hawaii", so apologies.
As you might think from a fare posting, KOA is an airport code = Kona, Big Island. It is indeed a great fare, currently on UAL but may spread to other airlines and cities like sales often do.

Shannon, you miss the point. A header of "$600 fare: DFW to Kona" would have been great! How many people bypassed this entire piece of info because of the stupid header?

To Shannon and Bob: A lot of us find better and more productive ways to spend our time than memorizing the abbreviations for the world's airports!

Duh: Well than would you like help if understanding how to locate airport codes if you don't know them? Get on with your productive ways they seem to be escaping you here.

P is that summer airfare, I saw fares over $1000.

I keep this on my desktop, and refer to it when needed. Hope it helps others.

I do NOT believe I've seen more numskulls in my life! Bob, Percy, and Shannon - incredible idiots.

You get the picture of these folks -
TIGHT lips - requesting "could you paahsss ze Grey Poupon Please".

Get off your kick. Don't post a Stupid post to "HELP" people and then tell them to go look up the airport code.
For CRYIN' out loud add the DAMN in for KONA was that too much to do or are you too pompous and need to show how bright you are b/c you know airport codes!

I assume FWIW means fares within week but please Bob Percy and Shannon tell me where I can look this up!

Actually you can get a summer fare to Kona, or elsewhere in Hawaii, for less than $600.00 depending on where your traveling from. Expedia is good, but not the best.

Rebecca - take a hint from Bruce - the trio is one in the same. This post was started to piss people off by using their 6.20 hourly airline employee codes. There is no incredible fare.

xxx..xx This trio is NOT one and the same. FWIW = for what it's worth, a common abbreviation on the net. I guess you're too busy flaming off to actually READ anything.

The fare (as of now) still exists.
Go to Travelocity.com; enter DFW/KOA and select "my dates are flexible".
You will see the United Airlines fare come up; select it and you will see the days (in green) for which it is valid. From there I assume you can understand what to do next.

Rebecca, don't feel bad - the cheap fare appears to be Kona only, at least for now !

Make it a foursome of losers. That people could be so ignorant and small-minded as to verbally attack someone who is trying to help is depressing.
No doubt this post will only incite further schoolyard name-calling, but I've had my say.
Thanks, "p" - the information is appreciated.
