Charming,not too expensive restaurant recommendations needed

i only have one day left to pick a restaurant to take my husband to for his birthday tomorrow monday dec 22. I'm I'm north Hollywood but am willing to drive up to 25 miles in any direction for the right place. We like italian...but am open to their ideas. I am more interested in finding a great charming place with nice atmosphere and prices . No corkage fee is always great. Thanks

joy_george: In case you try yet again - (what is it, 3 or 4 times so far?) I assume the moderators are deleting your posts because joining Fodors just to recommend a place is assumed to be advertising.
