Charleston Hotel with Pool

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Charleston (in the historic area) that has an outdoor pool? I would love to stay at Charleston Place with its rooftop pool, but that's not in my budget. I'm looking to spend about $100 per night.

I think the Best Western King Charles has one and the Hampton Inn also. Check it out.

Look at the Elliott House Inn- it has a large outdoor jacuzzi for 10 people- it is an BNB across from the market area- and serves bkfst in room on silver service and also wine and cheese in the afternoon outdoors near the jacuzzi---plus free bikes to borrow and ride thru the battery....

The Elliot House is our absolute favorite in Charleston for all the reasons andy lists, but the pool is really more a spa-hot tub kind of pool than a swimming pool per se. When we were there last summer, the water was hot like Charleston. My brother and SIL, who were on the same trip with us, stayed at the Mills House, which has a great pool. The prices may be a bit over $100, but not anywhere near Charleston Place prices.

Sandy, go to www.charlestoncvb.com and click on visitor. You'll get all the lodging info, most of which will link you to the direct websites. The hard thing will be choosing where to stay--I'm so glad we like the Elliott House so much, because otherwise I'd be dithering over the embarrassment of riches Charleston offers! I'd never be able to make up my mind!
