I am proud to say that I do not subsidize the liberal whiners in the city. I am a taker, not a giver. I even own two rental houses where stupid people pay me incredible money for tiny apartments.
I don't wear a suit and I don't ride the train like all the peasants out there. I drive. I'd rather subsidize Texas oilmen than liberal inner-city interests.
Quality of life, not an issue where I live. No bums, no druggies, no liberals, no weirdos, no human rubbish. Where I live police control the streets, not gangs, druggies, bums, and weirdos.
You don't hear gunfire, sirens, urban cars customized with loud exhausts, stereos, and alarms. You can leave your car on the street anywhere for free and find it in the same condition as when you left it.
So you people living in the gutter, enjoy your liberal dump. I'm just there to make money.

New York is a blast if you can deal with the pace. It is hectic. It is NEVER boring. However, I do agree with earlier posters regarding negative change. RUDY was the BEST MAYOR by far this city ever had. IT is scary some people would be happy he left. The post left by one MKB from 8/21 is an example of the clueless side of NYC people. Please, spare the gibberish of "black men being shot in the back." Anyone with a brain knows black neighborhoods have very high crime rates. Rudy did his best on that issue and so many others. Bloomberg is Rudy-Lite. For NYC, that is not bad. It is still better than the 4 years of amateur night under David (no concept) Dinkins before Rudy. A lot better!

xxx, you're a loathsome little troll. Chances are you're a fat, ugly, pimpled adolescent boy who knows he'll never get laid, masturbating furiously as you fantasize being a Master of the Universe. But, on the off chance that even a bit of what you've written is true, it comforts everyone with the misfortune of knowing you to know that karma is a rule. And one day you'll get what's coming to you and become just a stench and a smear on the turnpike, after some drunken "peasant" in a pickup rams your rear, roasts you alive and makes New York a little better. No one will miss you, ever. In fact, we'll have one of our ticker-tape parades to celebrate the extermination of one more piece of filth from the world.

Ahhh, c'mon. XXX is a little pissed but there is some truth to what he is saying, no? If he wrote about rednecks or trailer-trash, would there be the same angry response? Doubt it. But since it is about NYC,liberals, minorities, grime, etc., suddenly the rage comes out. Look, NYC is a GREAT city but there are problems. Some of the things XXX says point to that. I still would rather live in NYC than 80% of the country. There is just so much to do here. However, it's getting too diverse. Yikes!!
