Central Coast 2 BR condo or house
My husband and I and his mother are planning a trip to the Central Coast area and are looking for recommendations for a place to stay. We would like a nicer 2 BR condo or house with kitchen in the San Luis Obispo area. One major requirement is that the place have 2 bathrooms. A king bed in the master BR would be fantastic. We are planning to stay a week from Dec 30-Jan 6. Any help would be appreciated.

Gee, Kathy, your choice of dates is not the best.
You are competing with all the people who are renting vacation housing for Christmas/New Years week and wanting to start YOURS on the last days of THEIRS. Know what I mean?
Now, you say San Luis Obispo (SLO) "area."
If you are from outside California, you may not know SLO is inland -- not a beach city. Many people want to stay in one of the several beach cities, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, etc. and those costs will be higher.
I'll be back with some websites.

Here's California's official state website for tourism.
Again, lots of good stuff -- maps, etc. You need to explore the regions to pick up on Central Coast area.

Lastly, I suggest you use a search engine. Mine is Google because it seems to 'grab' more websites per search topic than any other. Yes, you will have to ignore those that don't apply.
1. http://www.google.com
2. type in search phrase: san luis obispo vacation rental
3. hit Enter Key
You'll just have to wade through their pages and click on anything interesting.
Good luck!
