Is it possible to get short term cell phone sevice while visiting Hawaii for two or three weeks?

Check with your current provider. I have nationwide long distance with Verizon. My husband and I are leaving for HI in less than a week and called to find out if we would be able to use our phones while there. Hawaii is covered just like any other state under our plan. If you don't already have nationwide coverage, look into adding it and the consequences of cancelling it after you return.

I have Cingular and we have a no roaming plan that covers Hawaii. You might check into something like that. The signal was great.

I have cingular and hubby has nextel...we both had BETTER service in HI than we do here at home on the east coast. ;-)
