Celebrity sitings in inappropriate clothes

Folks,
The other posts on jeans in NYC restaurants called to mind something I saw at a very upscale restaurant in London back in February. Everyone was beautifully dressed, except for one dip who was wearing a Nike jogging shirt, sleeveless, and horrible jeans and I kept looking at him...and when I left the maitre'd said...did you see Rupert Everett, you were sitting right across from him...I couldn't believe it, it WAS him...and I said, I don't care WHO he is, there is not excuse for him dressing like that. I don't want to LOOK at it. Admittedly, far worse than jeans which I think are fine, any place, any time with the exception of black tie, as long as set up with the right shoes, shirt, haircut etc. Who else has seen hideous celebrity outfits in public that break all rules of decent dressing...

They dress bad because they don't want people to recognize them, trying to look average.

Yes, you might have a point there, except why would someone purposely look far worse than everyone else -- that sticks out too

Because they were out walking around all day & wanted to stop & grab good food, don't care, etc.

Remember MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING with Julia Roberts, Rupert Everett was her gay buddy that she is always consulting with on the phone and with whom she dances in the last scene. He is very well known in the UK.

Some are not trying to look average, just stick out even more by dressing bad.
Went to Mandalay Bay last year for Tiger Woods' charity event (totally dressed down in baseball cap and jeans in casino- looked great)and the most hilarious sight is Kid Rock wearing his typical white tee shirt and jeans which were falling down below his butt crack with a six pack of Bud in one hand and Pam Anderson in the other.
Everyone laughed so hard about his pants and that the six pack of beer looked like a better accessory on his arm than Pam did.

Actually he's not strung out. He is a very intelligent business man and musician and I found him to be hilarious.
How can you stereotype someone if you've never met them?

Actually I can stereotype pretty well. I know an actor who costarred with Pam A. and she's a druggie. He said she has track marks all up & down her arms. She does not have hep. from her ex husband. She's an IV drug abuser. Like runs with like.

Those tracks on her arms are not from shooting up, they are from the many times she's been put under anesthesia to enlarge and resuce and enlarge her chest!

Blah Blah Blah. I'm not talking about her and stop getting your info through hearsay. You don't know about anyone's personal life.
Go back to reading your Enquirer - just telling you about my funny CLOTHING sighting and not about anyone's personal business.
XXXX, you need to get a life and mind what you say about people and their problems.

Sorry it's so hard for you to believe but this is firsthand knowledge. You ASKED how I knew and I told you. I have a pretty good life BTW.

Who cares what he looked like? He is just a person like you and I! He can go where ever he wants, and wear whatever he wishes. Maybe he was out working on the yard or whatever and ended up taking a break to go eat. Who cares! Interesting post though...

XXXX,
I read this whole thread and nobody asked you two hoots about how you knew what you think you know about you know who.
Read it again. I agree with Dan, go back to your National Enquirer

While nicely dressed, I saw Sally Jesse whatever-her-last-name-is at Charles DeGaulle airport a few years ago. She clearly just had plastic surgery and some kind of chemical peel.

While not a huge star, saw Anthony Clark (the rich dad on tv's "Yes Dear") at Bellagio in November. He was obliterated drunk holding up his Brittany Spears backstage pass yelling at every passerby "I know Brittany!" Quite amusing.

Some people on this board could really use anger management courses. I'd hate to fun into these folks in real life. Total maniacs!

Disgustedwiththisboard,
Take your prozac and don't take it so seriously.
