Catholic church in LV??
We are taking our 78 year old aunt out for her birthday in a week and she needs to attend church on either Saturday or Sunday.
We are staying at the Venetian and was hoping there was something close. Could anyone recommend a church or how to find one? Your help would be greatly appreciated and make this trip much more enjoyable

LOL Ryan. Maybe visitors drop large chips in the collection basket! I was amazed that there were so many churches right in the middle of the action! http://www.snrc.org/vacation.html

Ryan, the Catholic churches in Las Vegas do very well. As you may probably already know, there are lots of affluent people here. A family member lives down the street from and belongs to the Catholic Church right next to them. Do you know that when they sell raffle tickets for fundraising one ticket costs $200? That just gives you an idea of the churches patrons. I remember they raised over 200k for their new building in a little over 2 years. That was in addition to the weekly offering. Catholic grade school starts at 7k and goes up each year. There is a shortage of Catholic churches and schools. There is only one spot for every 1,400 kids in Las Vegas. Heck, we donated $500 to try to get our niece in the school and it did nothing. There are huge waitlists.
