Car Rentals on Maui

Aloha.....I am looking for a long-term rental (9 weeks) on Maui. Of all the major rental agencies, Budget seems to be the lowest. However, I've noticed smaller companies like Maui Cruisers and Kihei Car Rental with older model rentals. Does anyone have a recommendation of such a car rental company with quality service/reliability with lower prices? Thanks.

We always use Word of Mouth Car Rentals and have found them very reliable and reasonable - their cars are not flashy however!

We've used Budget the last two times, and they were just so easy, it is hard to beat.

And once, when we had problems with our convertible top, they just replaced the car, took about 5 minutes on our way to Hana.

We used Hertz on Maui for years. Then, we got a better rate at Budget. We've used Budget ever since. Not only did they have better cars, the service and rates are very good.

There is an Enterprise Car Rental. You may want to check them since they usually have very good rates for long term rentals.

Aloooooooooha!

Have you checked Thrifty's rates?
I've used them this year on both Kauai and Maui. Both times requested and got a PT Cruiser. They just received some new cars on Maui; mine last month only had 300 miles on it.

I always use Priceline for Maui. I don't care which company I get. I can usually get a convertible for about $25. per day this way.
