CAPS Service at LV Hotels

Has anyone used the new CAPS service that is being offered at most Las Vegas hotels? I understand that for a resonable fee they will issue boarding passes etc. and take your luggage directly to your airline. I would be interested in knowing if anyone has used this service. Thanks

And how do they circumvent security regulations?

Kay: I have read their literature, it seems that they are authorized by the government and the airlines. It looks like they take the bags to the airport, it goes thru security and then on to the plane.

We used them the last time we were at Ballys. Great service! You declare no one has touched your bags, when you check your bags at the hotel. It was nice not to worry about your luggage. We were using Southwestern Airlines, so we didn't get boarding passes, but with other airlines you do!

I would use it again!

Thanks Sandy for telling about your experience. We were planning on using the service next month along with the airport check in for the Flamingo. Hope it goes well.

Hi,

i have just returned from two weeks in Vegas and used CAPS twice. Once from the Flamingo on America West to Phoenix and at the Mandalay Bay ( for Virgin Atlantic back to London)I foundf the service very quick and efficient ( saves having to carry your luggage all the way to the airport and queue in line at the airport)With your boarding pass you can have a more relaxing time before going to the airport.
