Cape Cod Weather

Coming from the UK is a long enough trip as it is, but even longer if the weather's not yet right. So I'd like to know how is the Cape Cod weather in late May thru' late June?
Cheers. JD

The cape in June is usually lovely. Temperatures probalby in the 70 F range--cooler at night. Water will probably still be too cold for swimming but you will definitely be able to enjoy time at the beach. There's a reason a lot of brides around here pick June for their weddings---the weather tends to be just about perfect!!

Late May is really unpredictable. Sometimes sunny and 70's, sometimes low 30's or could be anything in between. By mid-June, chances of pleasant weather are much better.

Not to be a spoilsport, for our trip to Provincetown the first week of June, the highest temp was 72 and it rained all week.

I love the Cape in late May - early June - It does tend to be a bit cooler - because the winds blow off the ocean and the water is still cold. But the crowds are fewer and it tends to be a bit more manageable. I'm getting married at my parent's home in Chatham in August and it's going to be HOT and crowded. I love Chatham because it has wonderful beaches and it still has a small town feel to it. There's also alot to do with the family. Anyways, back to the subject - May and June are some of my favorite months during the year, but it is cooler - so bring sweaters.
