Cape Cod in June

I had visitors this year the last week of June, we had great weather and no problems traffic wise. Our guest actually arrived on a Friday and said there was a small back up before the Sagamore Bridge but it only took about 10 minutes to get on to the Cape, so not a big deal.
We drove all around for the next 4 days with very few problems. There was some traffic but nothing that we complained about.
Often in early June the weather can be "iffy" but usually by the end of June it's great.

Ditto.
I would add that the weather may be significantly cooler than you might expect in most other parts of the United States. If you are not coming from the US, it is likely to be in the 70's (F) in the day, with cooler evenings, and the water is likely to be quite chilly. If warm air comes up from the south, you get picturesque fog.

Not to rain on your parade, but we had 26 days of rain (and not just showers) this last June out of 30 days. It was cold and miserable but it happens. It was also very unusual - hopefully, we won't see that again for several years. Point is - one never knows what the weather will be, even the forecasters don't get it right half the time. Think of it as an adventure.

Next year last week in June is a half week, also emcompassing July 4th weekend - unless you mean last full week in June. the former will be crowded - perhaps the busiest week of the summer; the latter much less so since many schools in MA will still be in session.
Getting onto Cape on a Saturday is awful - and not pleasant on Friday evenings. Most cottage rentals are Sat afternoon-Sat morning. The earlier you can start on Saturday the better.
I have never found the Cape to feel crowded when it is sunny. I have always found it to be oppressively crowded with horrific traffic when it rains.

You never know about weather in the Northeast. I live in upstate NY and this year we had rain just about every single day in June and July and I don't think the weather in Cape Cod was much different...August got a lot better...you take your chances.

I don't think the traffic will be that bad. It's really just the second home owners coming at that time. The tourists arrive later. Arriving on Sunday would entail dealing with less traffic. If you are arriving early or later on Saturday that would be fine too. A lot of the traffic is on Friday night.

Well, im thinking about stopping over for the night at Newport,RI on the way up on Saturday. Then, go from there to Cape Cod on sunday, that way i would be able to get to the bridges early. If i drove straight through, then I would be getting to the bridges in the late afternoon on saturday.
