Cape Cod

hi! I am trying to plan a vacation somewhere in
Cape Cod the end of June. Can some one please tell me of a good hotel that is kid friendly? Any suggested activities? Thanks, Gary

Highly recommend the Lighthouse Inn on West Dennis Beach. Terrific "base point" for exploring the Cape. On the other hand, located right on the beach with more than enough to keep you and the kids busy if you wish to just stay put. Wonderful facilities, family owned and terrifically friendly. Lots of activities for kids. Lobby is full of brochures for the various attractions all around the Cape.

One of my co-workers is looking for a child friendly whale watching charter that will be operating at Easter 1998. Any suggestions in the Cape Cod area?

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Cape Cod in early June. We plan on starting in Sandwich and ending in Provincetown. Any advice and recommendations on dining/lodging/tourism on all places between would be great! We are looking for a romantic getaway, but not an over-indulgence of romance. Sight-seeing tips would be great as well. Thanks!

This msg. is for Brian. My husband and I went to Boston and Cape Cod last August for 10 days and what a wonderful vacation..especially the Cape! We have no children and like you, we were looking for some fun and romantic places to stay. When in Cape Cod, we stayed at two B&Bs, both in Falmouth, which were wonderful! We stayed at the "Palmer House Inn" (In the guest house, Room C....highly recommend it for beauty, hospitality and comfort) and also at the "Inn at One Main Street" which was very cozy and romantic. The innkeepers at both properties were great and whipped up quite a breakfast. Cape Cod is quite a small area so you can stay almost anywhere as a home base. We especially liked Falmouth because it had a cozy feel and the people were very friendly...also very close to the ferries that go to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Good luck with your vacation plans...I'm sure you'll love it.

Anyone know anything about Captain Grosnold Village or the Sea Breeze Inn in Hyannis? Both are Fodor's picks and right in my price range but I was hoping to get a personal recommendation. Anyone?
