Cambria hotels

We are traveling to Cambria at the end of July for just two nights. Can anyone suggest a great hotel or inn for us.
Restaurant suggestions are also appreciated.

The wineries on the west side of Paso are about 30-40 minutes from Cambria. It's a beautiful drive. You should concentrate on the wineries on the west side as it's a further drive to the east side wineries and it is much, much hotter there in the summer.

Sorry, can't help with hotels but there are two main locations in Cambria: Moonstone Beach and in town. There are a couple of restaurants on Moonstone Beach so if you don't eat there you will want to drive into town (5 minutes). The town is super cute and fun to walk around but I would stay on Moonstone Beach. Be prepared for chilly weather no matter what time of year. Always dress in layers as it will be chilly on the coast and much warmer inland.

We stayed at the Whitewater (on Moonstone Beach) a few years ago and loved it. Check their website for specials: http://www.whitewaterinn.com/specials.html

A restaurant we really liked was the Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill. Great seafood.

Cambria is one of my favorite places.

We enjoyed the Fireside Inn at Cambria -

All of the hotels at Moonstone are across the road from the water, but the boardwalk is wonderful for walking along and enjoying marine life.

The hotel room a fireplace and nice patio. We sat out and enjoyed the sunshine, the view and wine from the vineyards.

We really liked Peachy Canyon -

We stopped there first and then just explored the wineries nearby. It was about a 30 minute drive and a pretty drive with happy California cows on the hillsides (reference to the commercial).

In Paso Robles, we ate at Bistro Laurent and enjoyed it -

We also ate a restaurant within walking distance of the Fireside and it was fine.

We had lunch at Linn's in Cambria, mostly because we were told we had to try the olallieberry pie

It's a lovely area. Enjoy your trip!
