Calling all Romantics for help: Valentine getaway on Pacific Coast Highway.

Me and my Girlfriend (both in mid 20s) are driving down the Pacific Coast Highway this year from 12th to 17th February. We will be spending a day or two in San Francisco, 2 days at Pismo Beach and then the last two days in L.A.

Even though the drive will be lined by some breath taking views and sunsets nature has to offer and an Ocean View hotel at Pismo Beach on 13th and 14th seemed like a good idea,
I was wondering if there are any other ways or places that will add a touch of romance to our trip. I would love to make her feel little more special since she likes it a little cheesy.

Any suggestions from Rose petals and candlelit dinners to skydiving on pismo beach is welcome. Things to do, places to see, moments to experience, your own memories with a pinch of fun and craziness would make our trip a memorable one.

I am sure there are some incurable romantics out there like us.

We had 80 deg in Pismo Beach last week but who knows what Feb will bring. Nearby SLO has these things going on:

Sweethearts Night Feb 13th

Temptations at Cal Poly Performing Arts Feb 14

Pismo Monarch butterfly grove:

There is no skydiving at Pismo but there is sufing and kite-boarding and it's a nice place to fly some large kites. You can Kayak at Shell Beach or Morro Bay.

Get a private hillside hot tub and couple's massage at Sycamore Mineral Springs:

Gardens of Avila restaurant, a few miles north of Pismo, has fireplaces, a romantic ambiance, and a fireplaced bar area with a limited menu if you don't want to dress up and go for a full dinner.

It's at the Sycamore Springs resort mentioned above.

Take her on a tour of Hearst Castle - by San Simeon/just north of Cambria. As close to a European Castle experience as you can have here in the States. http://hearstcastle.org/

Also - you might consider staying at beautiful Moonstone Beach at Cambria - about 50 minutes north of Pismo Beach. Can't think of anything more romantic than that, and Cambria has some nice places to dine and also some wineries you can tour. https://www.google.com/#q=moonstone+beach+cambria
