cafes/bars
We are staying in Dupont Circle area on our up-coming trip--lots of good restaurants right in the area. My husband loves mussels and Chimay--is Belga Cafe worth the trip, or should we skip it and eat in the area? Also, we would love to hear good live jazz; the only posts I see for Utopia are from 2000--is this still a good place to go to hear live music? Thanks!

Hello rosebro, I notice you have not had any responses to your questions.
May I suggest that you repost and indicate in the title of your thread what your questions are. Also perhaps many do know but I would also put the name of the city in the title also.
Example "Q's regarding (name of city) Dupont Circle area". I would imagine you will receive answers and thoughts from those that are familar with Dupont Circle. Best regards.

Cafe Belga is still great. Even better and a little closer is Beck - featuring about a hundered different Belgian beers!! (the mussles rock too!).

Here's a complete listing of jazz venues in DC. I think Twins Jazz and HR-57 and the two best choices.
