I replied to your other post regarding White Mountains, NH.
Just to expand upon that, 2 years ago we combined the Green Mountains, VT; White Mountains, NH; and Acadia NP, ME into one trip.
There is alot of driving involved but there are alot of side attractions along the way.

I'm sorry, godrejk, to jump into your posting but I would like to ask laurieb_nyny what route she drove from VT to ME. I am going to be driving from the Adirondacks to Bar Harbor at the end of this month and I wasn't too happy with the route Mapquest gave me. We love scenic drives so if your route goes through the mountains, that would be ok with us! Does anyone have any suggestions for a good route?
