cabin stay/summer in colorado

Planning my mothers 60th bday. She wants the whole family to go to Colorado, adults and grandkids. We are looking for a place with cabons (do not want hotel/resort). We don't where to begin looking. Sons-in-law would like to be able to golf nearby. If anybody has ideas, or websites to start looking at, I would appreciate it.

you could try vrbo.com. the people that started this website (it's now global) are from Breckenridge. So there are lot of Colorado properties.

I would suggest YMCA of the Rockies Snow Mt. Ranch. Beautiful setting, nice amenities, very reasonable, lots of golf, etc. near.

I would agree with www.vrbo.com, especially for Estes Park and www.estes-park.com.

I agree with Snow Mountain Ranch, a YMCA facility, between Winter Park and Granby, Colorado. They are always ranked one of the best in the country for large family reunions. They have at least two relatively new cabin/lodges that accomodate about 36 people, with bedrooms, bunk beds, a large kitchen and eating area, etc. They book up very far in advance, though. There's lots to do on Snow Mountain Ranch's large property itself, even a crafts center for kids, miniature golf, and gorgeous trails for hiking and biking. And the next property down the road is Pole Creek Golf Course, which gets high ratings, too.
