You might do better shopping online. I saw a camera in NYC that I really liked, but wanted to check reviews online before purchasing. After I got home and checked the reviews (which were favorable and then some) I went to Pricegrabber.com, etc., and found the same camera (with accessories) for singificantly less and free shipping. As it turned out, the vendor was in Brooklyn. If you buy a camera online, it's a good idea to carefully study the return policy, just in case.

Adorama is a good alterantive.

If you have a resale certificate they have an odd policy. They first time you buy something with the certificate they keep the sales tax until the second purchase at which point they refund the tax for the first and second purchases.

I just bough the Nikon200, my first digital after 40 years of film SLR's. I used slides and that will disappear in the near future.

I liked a number of your shots, especially the arches in Guatemala and the strangely dyed fellow.

You can buy it there, but if you do you'll pay a lot in tax. Buy online. I used to buy a good bit of equipment by mail from B&H.
Look at Amazon.
