Bryce Accom
Hi! My husband & I plus my 21yr old son will be visiting Bryce Canyon in October from Australia - I have booked at Bryce Canyon Country Cabins near Tropic for 2 nights - anybody stayed there? - wondered what they were like?
Thanks!

Hi - Bryce is really pretty. However, if it were my choice, I would try to stay in the cabins in Bryce itself. They are really charming. It's much nicer to actually be in the canyon and more convenient for sunrise/sunset walks, etc. You can make reservations from Xanterra (www.xanterra.com). The lodge and cabins there are wonderful, the food was surprisingly good and it really is nicer to be in the park if at all possible. Good luck!

Eurock,
Sounds like your trip is going to be similar to the one I had last October. This is not related to your Question, but make sure you take some gloves with you,at that time of year it does snow and is obviously quite cold. I nearly froze off my extremeties last year trying to take photos at one of the viewing points.
Enjoy
