Brooklyn Bridge - Parking Question

We are going to NYC tomorrow and would like to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.
Specifically, is there parking on the Brooklyn Bridge so we can do this?
We have taken the Staten Island ferry many times into the city previously. I just recently did a search on Brooklyn Bridge and saw a water taxi from South Street Seaport, but that will possibly complicate plans.
Thanks in advance for any help!

ON the bridge? Did you really mean to ask if there is parking ON the bridge? You can infer the answer.

No.. not on the bridge exactly. That wasn't written correctly - sorry.
What about anything nearby?

I had way too many things happening here and didn't proofread very well.
Let me re-phrase that:
Is there parking near the bridge on the Brooklyn side?

There are meter spots near Grimaldis. I don't recall seeing a designated parking lot, but that doesn't mean one dosen't exist somewhere nearby.

I walke the Bridge a couple of years ago and took the subway from the Manhattan side.

Then walked back so that I was facing NY.

I guess the time to do it is in the AM so that the sun is behind and not in your face.

When I went it was November. While relatively warm, it was still a bit cool and windy.

I hope to do it again this September.

One option to consider is drive into lower Manhattan and park at the Iconparking.com garage on Pearl st. (I think it's 243 Pearl). You're then near the Seaport and can take the water taxi over to Fulton St. in Brooklyn and walk back to Manhattan. If you decide to do this, reserve the spot and PRINT it off on your computer.

I don't know the area around the bridge on the Brooklyn side well enough to know about parking. There's parking at the River Cafe as I recall, but only for patrons. They have directions from the Verannzano bridge on their website rivercafe.com
