broadwaybox.com?

I've already purchased most of our theatre tickets through telecharge, but was thinking about using the discount codes on broadway box for one show. I just want to make sure it's legitimate.

I know I've heard of people on this board using it - but does anyone know for sure that it's OK to use this service? Has anyone had trouble using the tickets?

Thanks in advance!

I've used BroadwayBox many times, and they are definitely legit - in fact, got great seats to "Doubt" and "The Pillowman" recently, as well as several other plays and musicals over the past year or so. Definitely give them a shot in the future!

I just used them to see a couple of shows -- my sense was it was superior to waiting at tkts -- for about $10-15 more than 1/2 price, I was able to buy in advance and was getting good seats -- first few rows.

Thank you so much for the reassurance!

I only wish I'd known about it before I bought tickets to 3 other shows - live and learn.

Broadwaybox only gives you a discount code and a link to the official ticketseller, usually Telecharge or Ticketmaster.

I've purchase tickets this way lots of times without incident.

Also: Check Theatermania.com, Playbill.com, etc., for discount codes. Often the discounts are about the same, but for one reason or another, one or another may have better seats! (Some years ago, we got much better seats for Cabaret by checking several of them for availability...)

Note also: If you have an American Express Gold card, check www.americanexpress.com/gce

No discounts on sponsored events, but awesome seats! Often even just prior to your visit.
