Are you wanting Bradenton Beach, a city on Anna Maria island (along with the cities of Holmes Beach and Anna Maria)? Or are you willing to go further south along the shore? And when are you wanting to go to the beach? Some fodorites are having problems booking in March -- looks like Spring Breakers have just about gobbled up many low-cost/high value places in Treasure Island, but that might be too far north for you.

If you're interested in Anna Maria Island, we stayed at the Anna Maria Island Beach Resort and loved it as well as Anna Maria. Check out their website at annamariaislandbeachresort.com

Another vote for Anna Maria Island. We rented a gorgeous condo right on the beach. Check out www.annamaria.com. We specifically rented the Beach Front.

Hi

If you're looking for a place to stay on Bradenton Beach or Anna Maria Island (actually hey're both together Bradenton Beach is on Anna Maria Island) here's a few numbers to try.
Silver Surf Beach Resort 941-778-6626
Tropic Isle Inn 941-778-1237
Smugglers Cove 941-778-6667
Cedar Cove Resort 778-1010
Coconut Beach 800-331-2508
Econo Lodge Surfside 778-6671
Bungalow Beach 778-3600
Beach House 778-1000
Island Plantation 778-1079

I only know that Silver Surf, Bungalow Beach and Cedar Cove are pretty nice but the others are there by the beach.

Have a friend who manages a condo complex on the beach. He has alot of connections if all his units are rentedout. Let me know and I can provide you his name.

We have a small house 3 miles into B'ton off Cortez and husband is there now. He can get Dan's phone for me if interested.

If so, what's your price range?
