There is a mall in Sunrise florida called the SAWGRASS Mall that has an attraction type of entertainment for kids (Wannadocity-see below). There is a wooden roller coast off I-95 in Broward (see below) and a water park in West Palm Beach (see below). Hope these help.

Do you need to stay specifically IN Boynton? Delray Beach (next town south)
has an exceptional place right on the beach on the ocean side of A1A called Wright by the Sea (www.wbtsea.com). Apartment-style hotel with nice pool, grounds, tiki hut, BBQ. Lovely place.
Just west of West Palm Beach is Lion Country Safari where you can view lots of wildlife close up from your car. Also walk around exhibit areas. In Delray, Morikami Gardens is one of the finest Japanese gardens with lakes, exhibits, extensive walkways. Atlantic Ave in Delray, Worth Ave in Palm Beach, Mizner Park in Boca Raton all good for shopping/restaurants. There is a newer outdoor mall with movie theaters in WPB. There are boat rides on the Intracoastal Waterway in WPB.
