Stay in Estes Park the YMCA is a great location and very close to the park. Although there are many other good places. Our family loves hiking and if you enjoy picnics this guiding site will take you on a hike and provide a picnic we did it and loved the experience! rmhikethis.com. Take trail ridge road for sure over to grand lake. I also always book a trip with sasquatchflyfishing.com cheap fly fishing trips for the family. Have a great time!

Thanks all but we found lodging:
Estes Park Condos. They had a condo w/no stairs perfect for my broken foot I won't be hiking; 1 mile to RMNP, close for DH to take off hiking/trail running and I can sit outside by the river and enjoy the scenery.

We found out the Boulder Farmers is on Saturdays so we will head there the next day after we arrive for fresh fruit /veges & visit the town
