Boston - Union Oyster House
I'll be in Boston next week and I'd like to try the historic Union Oyster House for dinner. I've been to Boston a million times but never to the U.O.H.
Is it any good or is is a 'tourist trap'? Price is not an issue, but value for money is.

Was disappointed as a "returnee" to Boston who wanted to visit a place everyone always raved about. Thought the food just so-so and the hype a tad in your face. Other places do it better, but on the other hand, if you don't expect too much (stick to chowder and appetizers?), you can say you've been there.

Have a drink at the bar. Take the long walk through going to the restrooms.
The oyster stew, clam chowder and raw bar are excellent.
Do not recommend "dining". Food is not the best and entire place could use a good scrubbing and dusting.
