Boston to New York
Hi,
Sorry to sound ignorant, but I posted this morning asking for the quickest and cheapest way to get from Boston to New York.
Also asking about places to stay, things to do with two young teens.
I got a couple of answers recomending Amtrack ( good suggestion) and when I checked back to see if any one else had answered any of my questions, I could not find my original post.
What am I doing wrong?

The cheapest is one of the Chinatown buses, anywhere from $10-$25 depending on when you go. Check out these sites

The bus should take 4-5 hours. The ordinary train is probably about 3 1/2 hours but costs more.
I hope I have this correct. It has been years since I made this run. How long? Well, I went to graduate school in Boston and home was Stamford, CT. My children are grown and gone so that should give you some idea.
