Boston-Savannah Easter weekend - air fare tips
Sticker shock for airfare Boston-Savannah weekend of April 14. Realizing that it is Easter, Passover, school vacation week in Massachusetts, Patriots Day in Massachusetts - still can't believe fares starting at $367.
Have tried Expedia et al, individual airlines, and even flying from Manchester. About to give up and stay home - and forget using my FF miles - every airline wants me to use 50,000 miles. Anything I may have missed?

If you don't mind driving a little, you could try flying into Jacksonville, Florida. If you don't mind driving a lot, you could fly into Atlanta.
One option would be flying into Atlanta and getting an AirTran flight to Savannah. Not sure that's worth it for a weekend.
Gretchen is right - it's a small airport without a lot of flight options.

I checked AirTran's site directly. You can get in and out at under $300 almost all the time - except that weekend. You'd have to fly into Savannah on the 11th (Tuesday) to get into town but the fare would be around $220. Don't know why everything else is booked - but it seems to be.
