Boston Restaurant for Concert Tonight!
Any suggestions for eating before tonight's Bruce concert? Walking distance from the Garden as we're taking the T into the city. Don't frequent the city too much lately and just wondered for suggestions. Maybe something in the North End but toward the Garden? Its been so long we just don't know what's still there! Thanks Fodorites, you're always the best!

I just ate at Tresca last night, it was so good, it's on Hanover St, on the end closest to the Garden.
In the North Station area there's Anthem which is pretty good.
Did you have a particular type of food or atmosphere in mind?

To circle back to all the dedicated Fodorites. . .I ended up going on chowhound.com and found Antico Forno on Salem. Just the perfect place for us on this night. Although everything sounded wonderful, we opted for caprese salad, calamari, and a 'signature house' pizza: homemade sausage, broccoli rabe, cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. Great little place, filled with other concert goers, and off the beaten path of Hanover.

Glad you liked Antico Forno.
china_cat, you're right, apparently Anthem did close. I hope another good restaurant opens in the space, Something a little nicer than the standard pub grub that most restaurants in North Station serve.
