Boston Hotels
I'm looking for current information about the Eliot Hotel vs. XV Beacon. I understand that the Eliot has had recent renovations and would love to know if anyone has stayed in their Premeier Suites.
Boston is *my neck of the woods* and I have stayed at both hotels...but it has been a year or so and would love to hear some recent comments.
Thanks !
Marion

Marion: The Eliot offers, as far as I know, either deluxe suites or deluxe rooms. It has been less than a year since our last stay there and I am unaware of any recent renovations between that time and now (or any time for that matter). Our stay, in their deluxe suites have always been wonderful.

According to the Eliot reservation form, they now have "Premier Suites" which are at a higher price point.
I don't know where I read it, but these suites have been renovated...thus the new category.
Just trying to find out if what the website says is true ;-)

Thanks for your help on this. The reservation form gives me options of a 1 bedroom suite at $345 or a Premier suite at $425.
Reservations was unable to explain the difference.
Maybe it's room location, but in the past requests have been honored without a price increase.

Marion: By any chance have you stayed at the Lenox? We waited too long to get a reservation at the Eliot, so this will be our first stay at the Lenox. They are offering a nice package that includes breakfast and parking for $299/night. (This is similar to the package that the Eliot offers but is not available at the moment).
