Expert advice needed again!!! Did a fair amount of reading this weekend! Booked Westin Copley square from 28th checking out 1st. Our flight out is at 8 pm on 3rd August. So for the remaining two days was considering Cape Ann area..However now am leaving more towards Provincetown, Cape Cod. Is this doable? We will rent a car and leave early on the 1st. 1st and 2nd nights in Provincetown and get back to the Airport on the 3rd. Is it truly a 2-3 hr drive? Thanks!

Yes, it is 2 hours without traffic, as it is over 100 miles. A Saturday afternoon/evening shouldn't be terrible for traffic, but I'd probably leave by 3:30 or 4pm just to be safe.

even Saturday's can be rough, as Cape rentals tend to be Sat-Sat. Also, daytrippers going home from the beach. So definitely leave 3 hours, and check Cape traffic reports to see how it will be.

It is SO interesting when I read of all the great things people do and the wonderful time that visitors have when they come here. Thanks for the update! So lucky for you that you came then and not a week earlier when the weather was unbearably hot!!

glad you had a great trip. I was there during the same time as well and enjoyed the nice weather. We stayed in the financial district at the Langham and loved it. It was so close to the waterfront and Faneuil Hall. We even walked home from MIT one day. I can't wait to go back!
