Nina, thanks again, I would prefer a queen. My son conner is 10 and if your boys are around that age, you know you need a good night's rest. The queen bed sounds alot better.

Stay at the Hotel Commonwealth - book a Fenway Room overlooking Fenway Park! You will LOVE it - we used to live near there - in fact we have a cat named Fenway! Enjoy one America's best cities!

Westin versus Marriott - stay at a Westin - the beds are MUCH more comfortable and both hotels are connected by a shopping mall!

We recently stayed at the Westin and loved it. But I think its misleading to say that the Elliott is in a worse location. Actually I think the Elliott has the prime location right on Comm Ave (next to the Havard Club)- very close to Fenway and just around the corner from Newbury Street and very close to the Esplanade and Charles River. In the spring Comm have will be in bloom and be quite pretty.

The Westin is great in the winter because it is attached to a shopping mall so you can avoid going outside and it is close to Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library, two blocks to Newbury St. Either way you can't go wrong.
