Book tour through agent or not?
Does it make a difference price-wise whether one books a tour through a travel agent or through the company itself?

Call both and compare. I saved by booking with the Cosmos Tours directly versus an agency.

My experience has been both. Sometimes hotels will over a break to discount operators they don't have sometimes they save those breaks for themselves.
