I saw Body Worlds -- a similar exhibition in Philadelphia. Very interesting overall. Body Worlds has a prenatal room that is not for the squeamish or easily upset, but I definitely thought it was worth the money. (I've compared notes w/friends who saw Bodies in NYC and it sounds like the two shows are very similar.)

Is this by the same guy who did the plastination with the bodies and there were questions as to wether or not the deceased had ok'd this usage of their remains?
We had an exhibition similar to this one that happened in SF about maybe 6 months ago and there was a lot of murmurs about it because the creator couldn't provide proof that the deceased had ok'd this usage of their remains.
it was on the news and they got their exhibition pulled and people complained that some of the exhibits..."leaked"....
Is this the same exhibit or a different one?

My husband had to go see it and would not recommend it unless you're a student. Creepy and weird I think is how he described it. By a lot of people's standards that would translate into disgusting! I'm surprised so many recommend it here. I haven't heard one person say they liked it.

I saw Plastination in Philly with my husband and 19 yr. old daughter. All 3 of us loved it. We saw it as a combination of science and art. There were all types of people there. Medical students, museum seekers. No one seemed to be "grossed out"
