Blue Man Group (Las Vegas): Is Front Row (poncho) Seating a Bad Idea??

We're planning a March trip to LV and are tols we have a choice of front row center tickets or sixth row side as 'best seats available'.
Is sitting in front for this show asking for trouble, or worse yet, a shower?
Is sitting farther back safer/smarter?

we sat in the second row and didn't get a drop...i don't think it's as bad as it sounds...they just want to make sure they don't get paint on someones $1000 dress

Ideally, i'd want to be just behind the poncho seats, but if poncho seats are all that's available, i'd take them (and sooner sit there than in the back).
