Black Hills: Wind Cave or Jewel Cave?

Hi, Fellow Travelers:

I am planning a visit to Western SD/ND in late May. Right now, it appears I will have time to visit either Wind Cave or Jewel Cave - traveling from Custer. Which should I choose and why?

ALSO: what type of temperatures and weather conditions should I expect for late May?

I assume the national park is better than the national monument. I do know there is a large herd of wild bison in the national park. Temps should be around 72 F daytime and generally sunny though there could be some rain on some days.
