Biz travelers: Cutting back or continuing as normal?

My company is planning to exhibit at a large convention for bankers this fall, and I'm wondering if attendance will be down this year. Are you business travelers curtailing your travel plans for a while or continuing as normal?

I know several Fortune 100 companies that have significantly curtailed flights by employees for corporate purposes. For example, BP only allows employees to fly if their physical presence absolutely necessary. Other companies have cancelled corporate functions and retreats. My sense is corporate travel will be down sharply for the next three months.

Any and all travel at my husband's corporation must now be approved at the corporate level.

Cutting back, in part due to safety fears and in part due to money concerns.

My company does lots of tradeshows. Some people have cancelled flights themselves and others haven't, but it seems a lot of people are uncomfortable with flying right now.
