Birthday and travel question..
I am curious as to what month you were born in and where your favorite place to celebrate is.. sort of a fun and informal, but travel related post.

August is the month of my birth. Where would you like to send me, Jetset?? I'm open to suggestions.
If I had to pick, I'd go to Bermuda. But I don't think that's in the cards this birthday.

I was born in October, and my favorite way to spend my birthday nowadays is on a plane headed anywhere. I've only done this a couple of times--the last time I was supposed to do this, Hurricane Wilma hit so my trip to Miami was thwarted.
I guess I figure, if I'm on a plane on my birthday, crossing time zones somehow cancels it out!

July . . . just had my b'day on the 9th! Love to celebrate just about anywhere as long as my DH is there, too!

okay cool! I should make a chart. Just think if there were enough Fodorites who would post a b-day and, in theory, represent every day of the year..
No wait.. if we all drank a toast that often, we'd be in sad shape.

July 26th.
Planning TWO trips to Frieburg, Germany this year. My oldest daughter will be studying at the University there for a year. Can I go more than that??!
My fav place in my home state of MN is the North Shore of Lake Superior. Heaven.

Thank you so much BayouGirl -- my son is well and his friend is recovering.
J, we returned home late last night. I feel like I had a "few too many", but it's just jetlag, ugh. The trip was great.

Okay, you were born. How about .. how many generations of your family have you traced?
I am still trying to find out about the WW2 auntie who was a pinup girl.. and how many have visited Ellis Island and found records of your arriving family members? Someday, I want to do that.

Fave place to celebrate : Anywhere !! Past celebrations...Paris/London/Las Vegas/St Martin
( Anniversary is November...again, the celebrations are almost always Away (Paris usually, Montreal too as well as Las Vegas and Jamaica)
