Biloxi hotels after Katrina

found a website that lists all the hotels that are open in Mississipi and got a room in Biloxi on my first try in Isle of Capri for 200 a night.

These are the websites

Good to hear things are up and running, even if they do have such a long way to come back. God bless them all . . . they have suffered a tremendous blow!

A quick update - the Beau Rivage Hotel and Casino will re-open tomorrow, on the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Everything there has been re-built, and they have hired more staff members than they had before the hurricane.

After being there only one time, and for a very short period, I was SO surprised to get a great invitation to the Beau Ravage opening. I'm so glad that they have been able to recoup.

321sister, get a comp card immediately. I was only there for 1 day and they were renovating so half the floor was closed. I gambled probably 3 hours all told and won a little.

And they still send me huge perks, if I chose to take them. They just sent me a free day's lodging and $100 cash, plus a dinner for showing up before Christmas 2006. Too bad it is so far. But don't overlook this aspect.
