Bethany Beach Father's Day Restaurants

I know it's early but my husband and two boys (4 and 2) will be in Bethany Beach for Father's Day 2008 and I need some good restaurant ideas. Do most places take reservations? I'm assuming the restaurant scene will be crazy, so i figure planning ahead can't hurt. We can't go too upscale because my boys are...well, boys, but I do want good food!
thanks for any input!

Topping for you. Personally, you might consider something in Rehoboth.

Thanks Dukey. I'll look into that area too.

A very family-friendly restaurant with a great view is Mango's, right on Bethany Beach. The food is just okay, though. www.mangomikes.com

For imaginative food but no view, try Dish in Rehoboth Beach.

Here's an old thread with more restaurant suggestions:

I would also try some of the many restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland, which is only a short distance from Bethany Beach...maybe Nick's Ribs, and there are countless Buffets.

I like Big Fish Grill http://www.bigfishgrill.com

it is in South Rehoboth. It has a family atmosphere.

I might be a little late here - but I second Big Fish in Rehoboth Beach. Great for kids (crayons on the table to play with) but good food/drinks for adults as well. It gets CRAZY packed, so be sure to call ahead.

Good luck!

I love the Big Fish Grill, but we go early, when they open around 4:30 and don't have a problem getting in. Otherwise you will wait. Another good restaurant if you like sushi is yokozuna in the Gold Coast Mall in ocean city. It is the very best sushi. If the kids don't like sushi, or katsu which is breaded chicken cutlet, you can actually bring in pizza from across the way and the owner does not mind. We take our grandkids there all the time. Again we go early though.
