Best Vegas hotel for quiet?

I hate other peoples noise. Looking to stay in Vegas in summer, want quiet times after partying and gambling. A good pool situation is preferred, too.
Thanks!

Most Vegas Strip hotels are quiet, especially the higher-priced ones. If you stay at the cheaper places, the other guests tend to be noisier.

We go to Vegas a couple times a year and have never had noise problems at strip hotels. We stayed at the Venetian our last trip and loved the huge rooms and excellent pool area. When it first opened, there were complaints that the pool deck was a concrete jungle. They've taken steps to remedy that problem and we found it to be fine. Actually, better than fine--it's definitely my new favorite place. I would say they have at least four pools--loved the smallish, shallow pool with loungers submerged in the water. Nice Wolfgang Puck cafe adjacent where you can eat/drink outside, plus a huge bar area nearby.

We've also stayed at and enjoyed the Mirage, which also has a great pool area. Both are very relaxing and don't have the party atmosphere of Mandalay Bay's pool deck.

It depends on your budget. I hear the non-gaming Four Seasons next to the Mandalay Bay (with pool privs at MB in addition to their own pool), is great. It is an upscale family friendly property, so that may be an issue with you. I think it's still relatively quiet.

A corner room (not inclinator corner)at upper levels at Luxor is quiet as a tomb.

I've never had trouble with noise in Vegas -- all of my rooms have been "quiet."

In terms of general peace & quiet within the resort, that's tough to find, but I'd once again suggest the "new" Wynn. It seems to have the fewest families & "loud people," if you know what I mean.

Enjoy!
