Best time to go to Lake Tahoe

Weather wise when is the best time to visit lake tahoe?We will be staying at a Casino.

It totally depends what you plan on doing.

Skiing? Dec - March is best but later can be OK.

Hiking? Mid May - October (earlier and there can still be quite a bit of snow.

Gambling? 52 weeks a year
