Best places in Colorado to visit in June
What city in Colorado would you visit in June? I am going to be travelling to Colorado & California in June and would like to spend a few nights in a town with great restaurants and outdoorsy activities like horsebackriding or rafting Aspen is the first that comes to mind. Any other ideas?

Durango, Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, Mesa Verde loop is one of the best tours to get a true feel of the best that Colorado has to offer.

Here are some random ideas and links to recent posts...see what you think.
Durango area will have lots to offeryou all and hit the interests you've listed; hikes, fishing at Vallecito Lake with boats you can rent, fun shopping, good restaurants, lots of accomodations and easy day trips to see ruins etc. ATV's, steam train, too.
Driving up to Silverton, Ouray on the Million Dollar Highway is great and there are huge natural hot springs there for soaking. It is big and the kids would love it. Continue on to Telluride and then down south to Dolores' Anasazi Heritage Center. Into cortez for reasonably priced accomodations, over the Mesa Verde [be sure to plan a full day for there].
ANyway, this should give you some food for thought. Feel free to email me directly for any specifics that I can help.
Hope this helps...

Also, type in any of the town names I mentioned in the SEARCH box at top of page to find lots more info.
