Best Place for Steak in Omaha?

What's the best place for steak in Omaha? We were there about 10 years ago and had a great meal at a place called Johnny's. Still there, still good, anyplace else we should try?
Thanks!

Plummie:

Johnny's is still open and still serving a good steak. They are located in South Omaha off of the South Kennedy Freeway at "L" Street.

If you want to try a different place you can go to Gorat's on Center Street (Warren Buffet and Bill Gates like to hang out here when they are in town)

For more upscale you can try Omaha Prime in the Old Market. (I have not personally been there myself, but have heard it is expensive)

Go to DiscoverOmaha.com to the restaurant section and you can find reviews on all these restaurants. (some good, some bad)
You can search by restuarant type.

I would have to say Piccolo Pete's (20th & Martha) is the best by far. As for Omaha Prime I haven't been there either but from what I have heard it is way over priced.

Omaha beef is overpriced. Strictly for tourists who wander into the Market District. The best places for steak are Johnny's and a restaurant that is spelled something like Goratz's. These are the restaurants where the locals go. I went to the restaurant spelled something like Goratzs a few months ago. The steak wasn't as seared on the outside as I like, but there was no denying the quality odf the beef.
